About Victoria Meinig

Ensuring good work happens.

When it comes to community, Meinig is passionate about connecting people to resources to bring good work to fruition. As the Chief Operating Officer for Advocates for Life Skills and Opportunity (ALSO), Meinig keeps the organization’s mission in focus while understanding how the complexity of day-to-day details sustain its vision. To meet the fast-paced, diverse needs of a nonprofit with more than 250 employees, Meinig draws on her range of former experiences as the Executive Director for the Gresham Barlow Education Foundation; the Marketing Director for the senior housing industry; as the owner and principal of an event planning company that assisted non-profit organizations with fundraising events such as auctions, golf tournaments, and galas; and from a strong background in banking and finance. A role that requires wearing many hats, Meinig’s adaptability is demonstrated in her commitment to deepening the pipeline of talent for the organization, solving complex issues, and strategically complementing the CEO’s overall management. She shares her expertise as a community volunteer, which includes serving as president for Metro-East Community Media, and as a member of multiple chambers of commerce.
