MetroEast is thrilled to partner with the Portland Latin American Film Festival for the second year in a row! The PDXLAFF serves the community as a non-profit cultural promoter under the guidance of the Hollywood Theatre.

Children are suffering,
People are dying,
Some long for hope,
While others only seek power.
Last week, we shot several takes for our Spanish public service announcement about the importance of voting. We had many talented volunteers come in and record lines for this video, so be on the lookout for the next rising star! MetroEast all-star producers, Emily Vidal and John Lugton spearheaded this project, which is now in the editing stages.

On March 13, MetroEast was proud to host a Conversation Project entirely in Spanish! The evening event, which drew 31 participants featured a delicious, family style dinner at MetroEast. People then gathered into conversation circles in Studio A. Professor Tod Sloan of Lewis & Clark College facilitated the conversation.
